Elizabeth Snett is a fashion designer with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts (BFA) in Fashion Design. She matriculated at Kent State University where she developed a plethora of skills to bring into the industry. While at school, she crafted a love for draping and drawing. She brings these skills into fruition with her thesis collection. Elizabeth’s thesis collection, Magnetism Reflecting & Retracting, allowed her to explore how to bridge the gap between science and fashion: forcing her to get creative conceptually. In her final year at Kent State University, Elizabeth has cultivated who she really is as a designer. Her design style and interest are clearly illustrated through her collections Granny Chic, Noguchi X Kane, etc. as well as her thesis. Elizabeth isn’t afraid to experiment with bold colors and unconventional fabrics or silhouettes. This fearlessness emboldens her to constantly challenge what fashion represents.
